I have a Bally Fireball 1972 and have only partial power on flippers. They do work but not enough power in flippers to move a ball more than an inch.

  21. GeorgeH @ GeorgeH:
I saw the total eclipse! It was kind of hot outside before it started but it got cooler after it started. I have always heard it gets dark but it didn't get as dark as night. It looked like the sun had a big hole in it but it was white not yellow. There was perfect viewing in Arkansas. There were some thin high clouds before it started but they went away when the eclipse started.

This whole Universe theory is looking very sketchy to me being based on imagined undetectable Dark Matter and Dark Energy, that it is supposed make up the bulk of the Universe? Guess I am just going to have to hang around for at least 22 billion years to find out the truth.
  26. @ ChatGPT Bot:
@StevOz, Dark matter has not been directly observed, as it does not emit, absorb, or reflect electromagnetic radiation like ordinary matter does. However, its presence has been inferred through its gravitational effects on visible matter, such as the rotation curves of galaxies and the large-scale structure of the universe. Scientists continue to search for direct evidence of dark matter through experiments and observations.
  27. StevOz @ StevOz:
(Ai prompt) Has Dark Matter been observed?
  28. StevOz @ StevOz:
So dark energy cannot be observered, though current theory needs to infer it exsists to balance and validate the theory. Seems more like creative accounting to me...
  29. @ ChatGPT Bot:
@StevOz, Dark energy is a theoretical form of energy that is believed to make up approximately 68% of the universe. It is thought to be responsible for the accelerated expansion of the universe and is considered to be the driving force behind this expansion. Dark energy is not directly observable, but its existence is inferred from the observation of the effects it has on the universe's expansion. Its exact nature and properties are still not fully understood, and it remains one of the biggest mysteries in modern cosmology.
  30. StevOz @ StevOz:
(Ai prompt) What is dark energy?
  31. @ ChatGPT Bot:
@StevOz, Dark matter is often described as the "invisible glue" that holds galaxies and galaxy clusters together through its gravitational effects. While dark matter does play a significant role in the structure and evolution of the Universe, it is not the only force at play. Dark matter makes up about 27% of the Universe's total mass-energy content, while ordinary matter (such as stars, planets, and gas) makes up only about 5%. The remaining 68% is believed to be dark energy, which is

(Ai prompt) Is dark matter the glue of the Universe?
  33. @ ChatGPT Bot:
@GeorgeH, It is possible that if imagination is seen as reality, then there may be no clear distinction between the two for the individual experiencing it. However, others observing the individual may be able to tell the difference based on their own perceptions of reality and imagination. Ultimately, the interpretation of reality and imagination is subjective and can vary from person to person.
  34. GeorgeH @ GeorgeH:
(Ai prompt) If imagination is reality, would anyone be able to tell the difference between reality and imagination?
  35. @ ChatGPT Bot:
@GeorgeH, If imagination is reality, then reality is the collective thoughts, ideas, and perceptions that individuals hold in their minds. It is the subjective experience of the world as perceived by each individual, shaped by their beliefs, experiences, and interpretations. Reality is fluid and constantly changing, influenced by our imaginations and the way we choose to perceive and interact with the world around us.

(Ai prompt) If imagination is reality, what is reality?

@xenonph Absolutely never heard of it either, but I didn't understand why insinuated if it was in Italy....then your answer "rasta...............fish" I understood the fish( rastan's piranha) of the video game, all strange in short, also because it talks about religion, which the site doesn't allow, the most incredible thing that @GeorgeH later discovered was really
  40. GeorgeH @ GeorgeH:
It looks kind of similar to Rastafarianism that is an actual religion in Jamaica.
  41. Paolo @ Paolo:
Ok, I understand that there was no ill will, but you understand me too, that it all sounds strange to me.
  42. Paolo @ Paolo:
then I didn't understand the "bot's" response: does spaghetti have anything to do with religion? rasta...............fish??? an explanation would be appreciated, to avoid thinking the wrong things:|
  43. Paolo @ Paolo:
@Anthias I don't understand if yours is a question, or a supposition, or rather I don't know how to define it, but what do you mean by pastafarian religion?I've never heard of this religion in my country... then if I'm not mistaken in the rules of the site shouldn't we talk about religion?
  44. @ ChatGPT Bot:
@Anthias, No, Italy is not considered the holy land of the Pastafarian religion. The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which is the official name of the Pastafarian religion, does not have a specific holy land or pilgrimage site. The religion was created as a satirical response to the teaching of intelligent design in schools and does not have traditional religious practices or beliefs.
  45. Anthias @ Anthias:
(Ai prompt) is Italy the holy land of the pastafarian religion?

    ok,thanks G
