At Games Pinball Machine

Just saw that @Games are releasing there pinball machine. It is based on an andriod hardware. But is says it will play VPX and FP games.

How does FP work in android ?

It can play FP, VP, or anything you can run on your PC, because it can hook up to it and act like a mini-cab. But it also starts with a hefty tablet processor, so it can also run all the pinball programs on Android.

AFAIK, FP & VP still only run on Windows, so to run them on Android (or iOS, or whatever), you'd need an OS emulation layer. Not sure how feasible that is for the average tablet.

That said, if you started with a Windows tablet, that could certainly change things. But you said "Android," right?

Where are you seeing the announcement & details of this @games thing, anyway?

Right now the spec on the pinball is all rumours. But we should find out in the next week or so.
