Druadic offers helpfull Flipperless images
In order to make his fellow Flipperless authors development task easier, druadic has made four table templates and a 1930s Bally plunger images available. A simple retouch within your preferred paint program can adapt any of the four table templates into the basis for either a recreation, or even an original table.
The plunger image, which is a Bally 1930, is the same plunger druadic used on his Silver Streak, his latest release, which is a 1 ball payout. Two of the table template images are arcade types, the others are for standard Flipperless coin-ops. While these table template and plunger images are intended for use in creating Flipperless tables, authors of flippered tables are welcome to borrow them and morph them for their own use. Will has said that he has a large variety of resources, which as time permits, he will share with the VP community.
Will, who has approximately 40 tables to his credit, all but two Flipperless, is our leading Flipperless developer, and is more than willing to help any Flipperless author improve their skills. In addition to these table template images, druadic also offers a tutorial for making a kicker/plunger for use in any kind of table of game. He has also written several articles for The Magic Of Flipperless. Without both his numerous tables and his experience and knowledge of the coin-op field, this site would find its cupboard quite bare indeed.
Will plans to make even more template images available, and as he does, they will be gathered together to create other tutorial help packets which will be hosted exclusively here at The Magic Of Flipperless. We are actively seeking tutorials and other help aids for Flipperless and Novelty authors to use in creating their majestic tables and games. While there are many fine tools for flippered table authors, until recently, the Flipperless and Novelty areas had been neglected. We here at The Magic Of Flipperless are working to correct this imbalance. It isn't at all an us versus them attitude, since we play and enjoy all the wonderful tables crafted in VP and VPM. We simply feel that Flipperless and Novelty have taken a back seat long enough, and that these historic treasures deserve more recognition.
