So it looks like I'm going to need at least 15 buttons! I'm thinking of having a small pinball apron that could have some of the buttons on it. There is not much real estate to work with on this table and my pinball leg brackets interfere with some of the buttons. Well it looks like I will be figuring out the buttons this weekend.

Keep us updated. Some buttons could even go on the bottom if they are not used all the time like say the power button or something if it looks too cluttered. I might suggest you check out a front end before you start to nail down how many buttons you want. I use maximus arcade, but I know some other guys who use MALA and hyperspin.
On a side note: if you like vp, I heard a rumor dave folley who does the pinball wizzard controller is working on a vp version with better screen rotation ability

I also bought a 3GHZ Shuttle computer to try out. I found it on Ebay brand new, just needs an operating system. I want to try and have the computer inside the table. If it don't work I will use it in my Bartop Mame cab.

Here is an update! I have all of the button holes drilled out, play field monitor installed and I cut the wood for the front apron and a piece for the lower part of the back box. I will be putting 6 buttons on the apron part. The two pieces of wood are not screwed in yet until I figure out how I'm going to mount the plexi over the 22" monitor. unclewilly do you have smoked plexi covering your monitor? I'm thinking of using smoked for that arcade look.
