Favorite Pinball Machine
Derby Day 1967 by Williams
Hi guys.

Help needed with my Gottleib Hi-Score 1967 i bought a couple of weeks ago.

I can only play the game at ONE PLAYER, doesn´t matter if i put more coins in the machine, it won´t add more players.

And when i play the first ball it won´t go further to ball number 2, it´s plays ball number 1 again and again..

Anyone recognize this problem?

Regards from Sweden
/Harley

Solution
the IPDB has nothing on the manuals for this pin
but I did find this image showing the positions of the motor
for the switches
but that is all I can find on this pin...sorry
it sounds like the ball in play unit (prob located in head) is gummed up and not resetting all the way or advancing, not allowing extra players to play or moving off of 1st ball

Hey.

What do mean with "gummed up"?

I´m from Sweden and don´t recognize that "language":)

"Play unit", do you mean the unit with the white wheel with number of plays?

When i start up the game and move the coin unit wheel in the backbox one step left so the light for player number two turns on on the backglass, i´m able to add more players. Then the ball move on to number 2, 3 etc until game over.

gummed up means sticking. this problem your having is hard to track down . do you have the schematic for the machine if not get 1. it will be needed by a service tech to track down your problem. when calling vending or amusement companies ask for a service tech with em experience, prob the oldest person there. younger techs with no em experience will be lost , they only work on electronics. or try to find a retired pinball tech to come look at your machine.
