Now that we've all suffered for a whole year, are you starting to regret your vote..?

Well, I gave Donald Trump a year. Let the record show that. Seemed like roughly a good amount of time to see what he would do. Put that in the books. Put that in the knowledge bank.

So then, Trump voters--

Unless you're dazzlingly rich and ready to scurry off to your private island, it's hard for me to see how you could respect yourself at this point.

I mean, from sabotaging Net Neutrality to fucking the national debt in order to reward rich people down the line, to reversing a gamut of national protections for streams, drinking water, common land, the EPA and so forth... it seems to me that this particular shithead of a "president" makes Bush Junior look like Mother Goose.

Agree / disagree / whatever?

I don't know about the US but this politically correct, pussy whipped "tolerate everything"-mentality has ruined Europe.

We had our "refugee crisis" here in Finland too. 30-50 thousand young men from Iraq and Somalia arrived... with their iPhones... coming from everywhere else than actual war zones. Meanwhile the Syrian women and children are stuck in the refugee camps.

I don't give a shit what race you are... what color you are... but statistic prove that these nationalities have 10-15 percent working rate here... after being in the country for 20 years. Oh but the racist white employers won't hire them because of their ethnicity. Yeah right...

If that's the case how can you explain that we have Kenian people that have 80% working rate in Finland... very hard working good people. It has nothing to do with ethnicity or race. Yet people call it "racism" when you point out these statistical FACTS to them. It's a cultural problem.

What has these Arab countries produced in the last 1000 years... unless they're born with oil? If it's racism to say that western culture is better than their culture... then so be it. Then the statistics are "racist" too.

Stop bombing these countries and let their keep their culture of fundamentalism... stop importing "American democracy" there. It might work. :D

Trump may suck but Hillary would have been even worse.

No I don't. I'm quite happy watching the people that oppose him squirm and whine and cry.:p\'n\'l:

Trump is not a politician, as a result he's like a normal guy in the respect that he's not a career politician, and doesn't know all of the protocols on how to act. Even so, he doesn't care how to act, he wants what he wants and that's it. I'm fine with that, in fact, I'd be less restrained...

From what I've seen he doesn't care what's in his way, he wants to accomplish what he thinks is right. Since I agree with what I've seen so far (less globalism, no more pc), I'm fine with that.

He's brought to light/acted on things that people have been saying for years, but no one would listen. I mean other countries have their military on the border, why can't we have a simple wall? All the idiots in the NFL, LMFAO. Do you NOT pull for your own team?? You live here, this is YOUR team. This PC crap makes me sick. I'm NOT PC. If you're an asshole/commit a crime, you get treated as such, no matter what color you are. One question: When is White history month? I mean, if we want to be TRULY equal...

I managed 100 people in my old job- 95% black. I never treated anyone different than anyone else, and I even went to bat for some of the better workers. But if you don't do the job, or won't show up for work I can't help you.

Hear, hear!

Computer down, so in the Library again, and allotted time about half-gone...maybe more tomorrow...

IMO you guys aren't wrong for thinking the way you do and being agitated in the ways you are. Maybe we can *all* pretty much agree on one thing-- that this modern, advanced-tech world that humanity has built should be way better than what it actually is at this point.

But there are multiple aspects to this stuff, and the way people so easily conflate them and arrive at the conclusions and votes that they do, consistently makes me go: "Wow......"

@Kristian,
As I understand it, Finland is one of those 'Scandinavian-type' countries (even tho it's not technically Scandi IIRC and is really sort of a sister-country to Hungary, no?), and there's a special sense of pride and shared civic duty (more or less!) in those countries. In fact, I admire them a lot.

But that's "apples to oranges," as Americans say. Almost nothing about that situation relates to Trump, or the USA.

Getting back to Finland-- did you know that in the States, that's a place that would be called a "Socialist Nightmare" by roughly half the voting base? That's specifically based on my understanding of Finland's shared healthcare costs and relatively high-taxation rate... a fairly willing and accepted cost to maintaining an overall smart, technically-apt, and financially effective nation-state. Agree / disagree?

At the same time I mostly agree with your critique of Merkel's open-borders policy. Germany in particular is *way* too important, as the very heart of the EU, to let immigrants in to the EU so carelessly. Not to say I don't have loads of sympathy for all the poor suckers simply trying to escape a miserable situation (much of which the US arguably caused), but... the EU is not the idealistic melting pot the USA is rumored to be, and even the USA can't even be close to that, anymore.

@Itchigo,
So far I'm left with not much more than a combination of laughing and groaning.

How about this-- can you name me if you will your favorite Trump accomplishments so far?

Bonus pts #1-- name me a Trump policy that's actually sustainable.

Bonus pts #2-- name me actual stuff from the extremist sites "proving" that Hillary was an evil witch out to ruin America, which ACTUALLY got vetted by 3rd-party sites / research centers such as Politifact, FactCheck.Org...?

Also, the idea of "I'm not sure how much I love Trump, but I love the way he makes people squirm" rather perfectly encapsulates what might be called the "Obnoxious-Asshole Vote" that propelled The Donald in to the Oval Office in the first place.

That directly flows from the idea that herds of people would rather go extinct than change.
I.e., instead of being willing to sacrifice some things for the common good and survival, they get more temporary kicks out of watching their own enemies burn... even if the fire comes right back to engulf them as well.

It's like "Mortgage the future for the present" mentality, particularly when you don't care what happens down the line to anyone but yourself.

...sabotaging Net Neutrality to fucking the national debt in order to reward rich people down the line, to reversing a gamut of national protections for streams, drinking water, common land, the EPA and so forth

Eh, whatever.
Somehow, some way... it's all Obama's fault. :)

@Nic: Finland has little (if anything) to do with Hungary. We're a lot more like Sweden. politically. Except that we had two wars against our dear neighbour The Soviet Union back in the day... maybe the population is a bit "tougher" and "rougher" here for these historical reasons. We're not taking shit from anyone.

The healthcare system is not the reason of huge taxation. It's actually one of the cheapest, best and most efficient systems in the world. We have 250.000 people working in the constructive jobs in the public sector. Doctors, teachers, nurses, policemen, etc... and then we have 420.000 people in the public sector working in non-constructive jobs. Remember... we're just a small country with 5 million people.

You know... bureucrats... organizers... etc. NOKIA is a Finnish company and during its heyday we increased the public spending tremendously. All money went to these useless public jobs. These people are the cancer of society... not the health care system. Au contrary... that's the BEST part of the "nanny state". Now they're ruining it... but that's a different story.

About Merkel... it's getting fucking old to call everyone who is against this immigration madness "racist" or "nazi". It's the "white man's guilt" and it has been brainwashed to people since the WW2.

Stalin killed millions of his OWN PEOPLE... that pig attacked our country as well... Mao killed 20 million... 20 million native Russians were killed in the Holodomor (The Russian revolution). Churchill called Palestinians "apes"... in the 30's the olympic winner Jesse Owens couldn't even travel in the same bus with white people in the USA... while he was treated like hero in Berlin 1936... but only the Germans are "racist"... and that's why all white people in the world should feel guilty about the things Germans did during the WW2?

Sorry I'm not buying that. I have nothing to do with that... my country has nothing to do with that. We shouldn't feel ANY guilt of anything. History is FULL of mass murders... but why only one mass murder means so much more than the others? How many Hollywood movies they've made of the Russian revolution or the Ruanda massacre? Why it isn't forbidden and against the law to make questions about some details of those mass murders?

They use this nazi/racist card and "white man guilt" as a weapon to fuck up Europe. That's bullshit. People are not racist... they're just worried about European culture... and FOR A GOOD REASON.

Sweden is what... 9 million people... Finland is 5 million. What do we gain by taking these people from the third world countries? We are 0.006% of the world population and we have taken 100.000 of them.... Sweden has taken a million of them and their country is fucked up in many ways already. Great. There's 20 million poor, helpless people born every fucking year in Africa. We should take one BILLION of them if we actually want to make any difference at all.

What this has to do with Trump? I don't know... but isn't Trump thinking in a bit similar fashion about immigration? Obama and Hillary were both Merkel/Soros supporters, right? They are very dangerous people.

PS: Sweden is like a war zone because of these people. Watch this.

I haven't researched everything he does closely, but I do know this. The economy is doing great. They say the tax cuts only benefit the rich, well, the rich own most of our stuff. If the owner of my company feels warm and fuzzy about the financials of the company, guess what- he expands. That creates more jobs. The company I work at currently announced they were increasing the 401k match because of the tax cuts. They said so directly. There is greed in the capitalistic system, and it's an expected component. If business owners have more money, they expand to make even more money. But the more Govt restricts them via taxes and other costs, it slows this process, and thus the economy.

Dear Team,
We are pleased to announce that in 2018 the Board of Directors will increase the company’s match to your 401(k) plan contribution. Effective January 1st, 2018, the company will match 75% of the first 4% of your salary that you contribute to your 401(k), to a maximum of 3%. In 2017, the match was up to 2%.
This increase is a direct response to the tax cuts just approved by Congress. Reducing corporate taxes will allow Composites One to keep more of what we earn when we satisfy our customers. We can then provide additional financial recognition for the work you do and make bigger and better investments to keep Composites One growing.
If you have any questions about your 401(k) plan or any other benefits, please reach out to your HR team.
Thank you. Happy Holidays!
Steve & Leon

I'm not going to dispute that he's not animated and "somewhat of a showman". I know this. But I think these things are similar views that he, I, and many others share.

Build a wall? Try "breaking into other countries", and see how you fare. Likely you'll be shot or arrested, if you're lucky. Building a wall seems tame by comparison.

Pro drilling? Hell yeah, this directly drives the economy- cheap energy. We SHOULD continue to work on alternative energy, but that's not quite ready yet. We are not far away, but if I decided I wanted an electric car to "save the planet". I can't afford one. When we can provide viable alternatives for the masses and not have trade offs, like higher cost, we will be ready. If I can pay this amount and have my choice of a gas OR electric car, we will be ready. In the meantime let's keep things going until we get there, not stifle them. Car's are a lot cleaner than they used to be, even if they suck now.

We've LONG needed someone to run the country like a business, there would be a LOT less red ink. After all, this is our economy we are talking about. Promoting businesses to expand by reducing regulations, and taxes help enable this.

Not letting the UN run our country. This country used to be bad ass, NO ONE would ever dare tell us what to do, and now they want run our country for us? America FIRST.

The NFL thing was a joke. Those idiots SHOULDN'T be allowed to play, period. Try that crap in another country and see how you fare. They could only pull a stunt like that because you have the freedoms we have worked so hard to keep.

Is he everything I wanted, no. He can go over the top more than I'd like, but it's definitely the better of the choices we had. If I made a list of everything I thought was right in a president, someone would disagree, and start a thread such as this one. The wonderful thing is that we have the freedom to even argue something like this.:appl:

@Nic: Finland has little (if anything) to do with Hungary. We're a lot more like Sweden. politically.
Yes sir, I know... that's why I said it the way I did.

And you know a big part of WHY that is, Kristian?

Because Finland, like (pretty much every major country), was both wise-enough and ethically-able to cut the middleman out of the whole health-care via profit idea.

By contrast-- the USA is pretty much the *very avatar* of embarrassing every major country in the international community in terms of " healthcare by profit."

Point is-- there is no "grand, deep, insightful, philosophical reason" in the USA for turning peoples' poor health in to money. It's profitism, pure and simple. That's a big part of why bumpkins keep voting for bumpkins, year after year, screwing their own rights in the long run.

It's why in the USA, all you really need is money and a hook upon your profit-- corn, soy, beef, chicken, pork. No matter, really. What profits a person, whatever.

Also, I should reiterate-- if you actually DID vote for Trump and you feel no regret at this point-- could you please *welcome yourself* in to this thread?

The fact is-- you're exactly who I was looking for in the first place, and I honestly find you beyond fascinating at this point.

I don't know much about Ron Paul but he has written a lot of sensible stuff.

@Nic: The problem is that greedy pigs have taken over here as well. Now they're installing the middlemen into the system. Most of them are friends of the politicians. I'm strongly against huge public sector (which is actually a big problem - and the main reason for huge taxation here) but I support 100% keeping healthcare and other social sector stuff (like jail system) public. We have proof that it's the cheapest way for the taxpayers.

When there's no profit to make there's no greed, either.

People who say that they support either socialism or capitalism are naive. Things are not black and white. Moderate capitalism with best part of "socialism" is the best way. Finland and Sweden are living proof of that. We have just gone too far... these leftist idiots don't understand that this kind of generous system works only with closed borders.

It's always so easy to pretend to be a good person... as long as you can use other people's money... and live in all-white upper class neighbourhood while sucking your salary from the taxpayers... in a public sector parasite job. When you ask these elite leftists that how many poor immigrants from the third world countries you're willing to take to your own neighbourhood they always change the subject. There's NOTHING I hate more than these politically correct hypocrites.

I like Ron Paul as well.

"Things are not black and white". Totally agree. The tactic used though is if you are not a part of the one group, then you like the other group, and therefore are the enemy. I thought Hitler did something like that too if I remember correctly. The party of "tolerance", is anything but.

I've heard various things about the "shithole" comment. He said it, he didn't say it, etc. If he did, it wasn't in the best taste, but I agree with the sentiment of it. I mean when you were in school picking people you wanted on your team, you picked the ones who you thought were the best players so you could win right??

Somewhere in the middle is probably best, but how can you tell where the middle is when one side wants to demonize you for not being a part of their group?

Hitler was a ruthless dictator but not even CLOSE being the baddest guy in WW2. This was a true red pill documentary for me.

They keep deleting this from Youtube. 4/5 stars on IMDB. Check the reviews... this is absolutely fantastic production. Best 5 hours I ever spent.

I mean, Stalin and Mao were both ruthless, shameless monsters who even now are being revived and celebrated in Russia and China, respectively. I shit thee not. Friggin crazy-town IMO. Altho maybe sort of indicative of the rise of ultra right-wingers in charge around the world, it guess.

Running behind on my replies, urgh...

Okay, I done watched the video. Here's my notes from the first twelve minutes:

- Little Adolph had a difficult, disappointing childhood (tragic, yet all too common, I'm afraid).

- Later, this young man was frustrated by his art-school rejections, and apparently frustrated by much of his overall living situation. (Pretty understandable, no?)

- Young enlisted-man Adolph demonstrated an almost pathological need to put himself in to danger in the midst of a fairly brutal international war, heavy with chemical weapons, which affected him personally.

Now, couple of immediate things that stand out to me (and the body of historians, IIRC), are--

- Hitler apparently resented the fact that his fellow soldiers participated in the famous "Christmas Truce Games." Seems that he felt the war-effort pretty-much involved the thought that...

- "Everyone in one country should be against the enemy country, to the death, otherwise they're fuckin traitors, man!" That sort of thing. Despite the fact that WWI in particular was like

...many, many other wars, functionally a "rich bunch of fucks sending out the plebes in order to get shot-to-hell for the glory of rich peoples' honor!"

- Young Hitler became increasingly outraged by these perceived "betrayals," inclining him in particular to glomm on to the whole "Jewish people are the devil!" angle.

Regardless, I'm still not getting the whole "Trump-Hitler" angle.

Someone wanna explain...?

Third Antichrist so many religious morons believe...whatever stupid humans..ho hum.

After Germany’s genocidal madman ignored all international treaties, invaded Poland and started WWII, the Soviet Union’s genocidal madman wanted to show that he was a big boy, too. He decided to pick out a tiny, backwards country he could crush. So he invaded Finland. And Finland kicked his ass right back across the border. Why did those Finns die fighting a genocidal madman? So, 80 years later, some filthy Finnish Nazi could post his Hitler porn.
Yeah, this video’s really popular with America’s own vicious, ignorant racists. It showed up on another board I visit, admittedly one busier than this. It was taken down an hour after it went up. This is hateful, racist propaganda made by hateful racists. Hitler was a genocidal madman. Beginning and end of story. The only people who don’t believe that are filthy fucking Nazis.
Well, my fine, filthy, Finnish Nazi, I think you’ll find Uncle Vlad is going to be a little harder to get rid of than poor ol’ crazy Uncle Joe. Uncle Vlad’s gonna wrap around you like an octopus. You’re fucked, Nazi. Good and fucked.
I guess I picked a really bad time to cruise by and see what was happening. I can promise you I won’t make that mistake again.
Fuck you, Nazi trash.

I wonder if LeeVanClef was crying when he wrote the above. I bet he was... and the mascara was all over the face too. Why act like a fucking, screaming, hysterical emotional little girl... why not post some sensible arguments instead? How does it make me a "nazi" if I want to know what really happened? Based on your post you don't even have the basic knowledge of Germany-Finland connection during the WW2. There wasn't a mention of that in "Schindler's List", huh? :D

International Movie Database has 3.900 registered votes for this documentary and it has caused a lot of interest all over the world.

These are from the review section:

This documentary is truly an eye-opener, a red-pill revealing another face of the world in front of us. It beautifully demonstrate the Orwellian nature of our time, how can the world be manipulated and make to believe a historical narrative created with a sole purpose: destroying the self-esteem of Western peoples, and pave the way for the rule of the financial plutocrats that we know today.

If this documentary was shown to the whole population, our world would be a better place, and the decline of our civilization could be reversed. I hope to see this day.

Truly the greatest documentary I have ever seen in my life. This film made me question everything modern society and education has taught me. If you are even considering skipping this one, THINK AGAIN. I guarantee you this film will change the way you view not just history, but your own life. Dennis Wise gives the viewer a completely unbiased point of view when reviewing World War 2 and the events that led up to it. I would recommend watching anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour a day since the segments are decently long and give you a lot to take in and consider. This film will have you scratching your head for months before realizing the truth. Truly a 10/10 film, I would recommend to anyone.

You're nothing but a brainwashed idiot if you believe everything that Steven Spielberg has taught you. Truth is always the first victim of the war. My both grandfathers fought the winter war against Russia and this was their favorite line: "Winners write history".

You obviously have gotten all your WW2 history from the Zionist Hollywood. The arguments against Dennis Wise's work are ALWAYS emotional... just like your laughable drivel.... why... because there's absolutely NOTHING in the documentary that you (or anyone else) can deny with facts.

Had a chance to read this thread and I'm very close to just letting the site die, a couple of close minded old white dudes showing their stripes and crosses.

I will not host embedded racist propaganda from Fox that they label as news, started to watch the other embedded hitler bs but couldn't continue after noticing the music they chose to use in the hitler opening.

The russian bots are out of control, the first thread I've ever closed, spew your nonsense elsewhere.
