NAVIGATE GRANNY PAST ROUGH WATERS TO STEER CLEAR OF DANGER!

Granny's no stranger to adventure. That's why she's all set to soak up the scenery with an expedition up the river. But there's undercurrents of danger along the way. Gulping gators and restless spear-throwing natives want to put a dent in Granny's plans...not to mention her canoe! To help Granny paddle safely to her destination, you must overcome the impending risks along the river!

GETTING THERE MAY BE HALF THE FUN...BUT DON'T GO OVERBOARD!

Granny's got her heart set on Egypt...Mexico...Greece and other exotic locations. To make the trip easier, she'll cruise across ammunition and bags of gold along the way. Once she paddles over the ammunition, Granny can use it to overpower the gators and ward off nasty natives. Granny also can collect the gold to use towards toll booth passage that will enable her to sail to safe waters.

HELP GRANNY PADDLE TOWARDS A PINBALL DETOUR!
As Granny globe-trots towards various points across the river, she will approach "pinball entrances." Once she canoes into the entrance, she'll leave the video world behind and encounter the pinball playfield. Here Granny can accumulate a few souvenirs, including ammunition, gold and additional points!

IF GRANNY GOES WITH THE FLOW SHE'LL PICK UP SPEED WITH HER "POWER PADDLE!"
As Granny explores the scenic wonders of the pinball playfield with her flippers, she now has the potential to increase her speed with a "power paddle." All it takes is toppling 5 drop targets to enter the top saucer. Then, when the red oar begins blinking, Granny's "power paddle" is activated for a limited time, allowing her to glide over gators and accelerate paddling power to reach her destination in record time!

CONTROLS:
Player powers and steers Granny's canoe with 2 paddle buttons
2 fire buttons (located next to paddle button) allow player to shoot gators
Power paddle button is activated only when player has earned power paddle
Side control panel buttons activate flipper when player is on pinball playfield.

FEATURE OPERATION AND SCORING:
AMMO FEATURE:
Making A-M-M-O
1st Time Awards 5 Shots, 1 Dynamite and lights the 5 Shots inside lane.
2nd Time Awards 10 Shots and 1 Dynamite.
3rd Time Awards 20 Shots and 2 Dynamite.
4th Time Awards 30 Shots and 2 Dynamite.

GOLD FEATURE:
Spelling G-O-L-D by making the outside right lane changes the gold bags' color and value as follows:
White 50 Points
Red 200 Points
Light Blue 800 Points
Magenta 3200 Points

POWER PADDLE FEATURE:
Spelling P-O-W-E-R by making the center drop targets lights the top left saucer power paddle button. Making the saucer flashes the power button on the control panel.

EXIT FEATURE:
Making E-X-I-T lights the saucer exit to video button, then making saucer transfers the play back to the video.

SAUCER FEATURE:
Making saucer when:
a) Exit to video light lit, play transfers back to the video.
b) Power Paddle light lit, allows the player to paddle with additional paddle thrust. The green gators can not bite the paddle and can be killed by pointing it toward them, and the white gator can be walked with it.
c) Extra canoe light lit, lights the paddle again light.

EXTRA CANOE FEATURE:
Making the top right scoop flashes a center rollover button, then making it stops the flashing and the light stays on. Making all 8 rollovers lights the extra canoe light.
