This table works with VP6 and VP8.
The exe file included is indeed VPDisco program.
Run it and install to program files. (Default)
Then when it pops up to install demo table,(Default will be program files, you don't want that!), point it to the folder you have the table in, and make sure you keep all items contained in the zip file that you downloaded, in same folder as table.
I just ran this on a Windows 7 64bit from a folder in My Documents.
So it does work!!
