Default Hit The Goal, 1931 by Hercules Novelty Company VPX

Updated from VP9 to VPX. A TON was refixed to make this one run properly and now saves your highest score. Enjoy!

I was wondering how much these games cost back in the day, and found two somewhat-similar examples over at the arcade flyer site:

Draw Ball, Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corp., 1936

    Sweet 21, Chicago Coin, 1936

    Wow, that's a lot. $67.50 and $149.50, respectively.

Now granted, those are more complex models from a couple years later. Also, I would imagine the Great Depression might have affected the pricing.

But still, that seems to come to... $1,243 and $2,754 in modern money, according to this site. Seems pretty steep for something that a decent handyman could probably have approximated, especially in that more craftsman-oriented age.
