Flipperless Solved Baby Whiffle (Automatic Industries, 1932) restoration

Hello,
I was given, just this morning, a Baby Whiffle machine.
I am excited about it and anxious to restore it. Does anyone have any suggestions on sites that may have helpful info or photos of machine in good working order so that I can see them?

It appears that the inner board is a bit warped from time, and I am wondering if there were flippers or paddles in them? (this one does not have any)

I have not had the chance to open it up yet and explore the inside of this thing, I have only removed the cover glass and cleaned it.

Any help, ideas or advice is greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the Baby Whiffle, Whiffle Board, it's bigger brother is widely considered to be the first Pinball Machine, there were two different versions 1931 and 1932 but they definitely didn't have flippers, see this Internet Pinball Machine Database page:
