Ball flashing/flickering

On the more elaborate and quicker tables ( F14 Tomcat, Attack from Mars ) the ball will flicker, which makes it hard to keep track of.

This issue is more consistent in Attack from Mars and only seems to happen when the ball is moving very quickly in F-14. I suspected it was a video preferences issue so I lowered my resolution but unfortunately it didn't solve the issue.

Find it kind of weird that no one has posted this before, so if someone could step up and tell me what I need to do I'd appreciate it.

I encounter this all the time, I just don't post it anymore as it gets old fast! but I have the Intel integrated graphics and because it draws its power from my motherboard it suffers from either lag (ball stuttering), flashing, sometimes the table won't even run (JP's new Black Knight is one example) on anything with fading lights turn them off, turn off your antivirus, run xp in minimum shut down all your automatic updates, anything to free up some processing speed.

If you are using broadband/dsl/cable/wi-fi internet then Make Sure to disconnect the modem before turning off your antivirus programs. At any rate, do not stay connected to the internet before turning off your antivirus.

We really need to know which VP you are talking about VP8 or VP9 and also your computer specifications.

you can just close out of your browser window too, no need to shut down the modem. I must do this(turn off my antivirus AND antispyware) to play an online golf game I use. as long as you KNOW you are on a safe server (you can still use a firewall) you are ok, but if you are unsure than by all means either shut down your browser, or shut down your modem to be ultra safe! I do it for either vp i use, although I only build in VP9 currently I seem to be helping others with VP8 tables done by them.
