BJ's how to series help needed!

I recenty downloaded BJ's how to series
i have tried to implement his 5 ball counter into one of my tables but i can't get it to work
As you can tell i am a noob and VP

What happens with the ball counter is:

When the ball hits the exit gate a light turns on.
Then when the ball hits the drain it goes back into the plunger.

Need Help

I've never checked out this BJ's five ball counter, but it's not hard to count balls.

Set a variable ballcount to zero and increment it by one each time a ball is fed to the plunger. Read this where ever you need to to take action.

A drain would work as a trigger to count balls sometimes, but not with many tables. You can lock balls and feed a new ball and the counter would not change. Count them at the feed. Set ballcount to zero at init. and increment it at the feed. Not launch, that is as bad as drain.

Every pinball game made counts the balls. Every one made in VP counts balls. It's not hard to count the balls.
