VISUAL INSTALL PACK - STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Note:
Vista and Windows7 Users, unless on an Admin-Account with disabled UAC, must run the installer with the 'Run As Administrator' Option.
The same goes for running Visual Pinball. Otherwise VPinMAME,
(which runs as a child-process of Visual Pinball), will not be able
to access the VB-Scripts. Script errors would be the result and VPM
Tables would not work.
------------------
STEP 1:
Run the installer | Press 'Next >'
STEP 2:
Wait a couple of seconds
STEP 3:
Done!
View the ReadMe in case you dont know how to handle Tables and ROMs
REPAIR :
In case you messed up your installation, (like inadvertantly deleting or
overwriting files, etc.), dont panic, the VIP will fix it for you.
Simply run the installer again and choose the 'Repair' Option. This will reinstall
all the original files that were installed when you originally installed the VIP.
Your Tables and ROMs and other files that were added later will be safe as
only the default files will be replaced with fresh copies.
(If you dont trust Windows, just back up your Tables, ROMs, etc. before repairing.)
UNINSTALL:
The VIP can be uninstalled via Windows Software Removal Menu or by using
the 'Remove' option provided upon rerunning the installer.
Note: The uninstaller will only remove the VIPs default files. It will not
remove any files that were added to any of the VIPs folders later, which
includes Tables, ROMs, Configs, NVRAMs, MemCards, etc.
This is to prevent users from accidentally loosing their Tables and ROMs
and Settings. So if you really want to delete everything uninstall the VIP
to unregister the programs, files, registry- and menu entries, etc., then
delete the installation folder by hand.

here), feel free to open a thread in the VIP Support | Questions | Feedback Forum.
Since there is a fair chance that your question has already been answered
on Pinball Nirvana you can also try the Forum Search.
