Does Shop feature do anything?

I remember when you added the Shop feature Jon, but never really thought much about it. Just now, on a whim, I checked it out. What exactly does it do, how do I Buy stuff, and so on? Just curious.

It can do a bunch of stuff, I currently have the points functions disabled but you can change your title, see this thread:
