Favorite Pinball Machine
Medieval Madness
For me it was Batman Begins. I already know what my favourite film of 2006 is and its not released until june :)

King Kong... that was so simple and naive.....the storyline was directly taken from the original 30's movie....and the action scenes were too long.........but it had certain charm in it......and Naomi Watts is the most beautiful actress in the world......it's rare to see a Hollyweird actress who isn't completely made of plastic these days.....and who's really beautiful and classy.........much like the "old times" female stars.

Serenity was my favorite, yea I just saw it after it came out on DVD around Dec. 20th so maybe it's just the best freshest movie on my mind, but... I have to say that I've never seen one single episode of the Firefly series so the characters and everything was all new to me.

What I find so great about this movie though is that it proved to me that you can still sit down and enjoy a PG-13 movie without all of the vulgar language, sex and all the other Rated-R features you've come to expect this day and time. I have nothing against a movie that's full of those things, it's mostly what I watch. Since watching the movie I was told about the Firefly series, I watch the Sci-Fi channel often but have never seen it, now I'll be on the lookout for it.

I have no idea if I, Robot is from 2005 or not, but I just watched it twice, and it blew me away, I'm going to watch it a 3rd time, and that is something I never do. An amazing movie, no matter when it was made.

I Robot was from 2004 im afraid

I figured it wasn't brand new. A friend of mine have a collction of nearly 1000 movies and lends them to me. I Robot is one of the best I've seen in quite a while.

The Phantom of the Opera was pretty awesome for a chick flick, King Kong's graphics was the best I've ever seen, Fantastic Four was pretty cool for a comic book movie.

I'd have to say flight plan (wit Dakota Fanning, Jodi Foster). That movie was really unexpected, with the ending and all(dont want to spoil anything).

I liked sooooo much Frank Miller's Sin City
I'm a Q. Tarantino fan, and this one (although he was not the main director), it was relly a blowmind!!

I tried to watch Sin City, but after a few minutes I losed fun to see more so I quit. Next try will be I Robot. I don't care if it's some old. I wasn't in cinema last year. Last movie in cinema was Traumschiff Surprise on my birthday with a few friends of mine. A german satire of Star trek. Nice.

The Constant Gardener was very good, so was Good Night and Good Luck - very relevant to today's world, I think Million Dollar Baby was excellent but might be last year - Clint Eatwood is turning into a great director, but I also bought The Good, The Bad and The Ugly on DVD this year and that is such a great film. I don't get to see too many films as it involves getting someone to look after my daughter who is 11. We are planning to see the latest Harry Potter with her soon.

Yes, Million Dollar baby is a great movie, so it is Mystic River (I like it even more than Million Dollar Baby).
Eastwood is really becoming one of my favorite directors these days...

Couldn't get on with Sin City at all - think I voted with the Off button after 30 minutes. Same with Big Fish too. But Batman Begins was pretty good (and a refreshing take on an old franchise). Flight of the Phoenix was excellent especially with the DTS soundtrack cranked up - not sure if it was 2005 but what the hell! I Robot was a terrific movie too as well as Lost in Translation.

By the other way, I found Big Fish really poetic and beautiful.
I enjoyed so much also the original soundtrack, it really help get involved into the storyline.
