Here's what i do in VP9 to get the flippers, plunger, and backglass to stay! CHECK hardware rendering, save the table, CLOSE VP9 back to your desktop. reopen VP9 then load in your table (check to ensure hardware...is still checked, NOW play it. I assure you everything will be showing up. ALSO while building my pins in vp9, the program has a strange tendency to UNCHECK that box, so every now and then, go back to the editor and make sure (check it if it's not) that it is still checked. trust me it always happens to me in vp9. So if it's ever UNchecked, check it save it again back to desktop, yada, yada, yada...if you do not go all the way back to desktop, it won't show up the flippers at all. Weird, yes, wonky, sure! Pain-in-the-ass? YUP but such is VP9!! good luck, have fun
In VP8 always make sure you are playing it in the proper window or full-screen size. experiment here, that should clear up the missing scoring box. If all else fails (and you are a bit handy with changing things in the table itself), go into the backglass area and physically move the score box a bit to see it it then shows up, save it as a different table name in case you mess it up somehow.
