I was wondering how much these games cost back in the day, and found two somewhat-similar examples over at the arcade flyer site:

Wow, that's a lot. $67.50 and $149.50, respectively.

Now granted, those are more complex models from a couple years later. Also, I would imagine the Great Depression might have affected the pricing.

But still, that seems to come to... $1,243 and $2,754 in modern money, according to this site. Seems pretty steep for something that a decent handyman could probably have approximated, especially in that more craftsman-oriented age.

Updated from 1.2 to 1.3 for VPX.

A TON of updating here for more realism including working holes. Graphically updated as well as using primitives for gates with proper colors. Plunger fully updated with nice ball shots and pins are now more usable via nudging.

I'd say that grey for the gates worked out just fine.

It's just the basic aluminum image from VPX. Just wrapped it around primitives for a realistic effect. Let me know how you like the game. It's so much less boring now with all the updates.
