How to get to pm from notification

In the notification e-mail there is this link to read the pm inbox (exactly this):

When I mouseclick that link I become forwarded to http://www.spiegel.de/
Spiegel is a german magazin. This is online version.

What's about that? Spam?

He don't talk to me, or most of us for that matter.
Sorry, can't help with that, or I would have. It does happen to me to, but it just don't bother me. I turned off e-mail notification.

If you got a pm from him, he talks to you. Why can't you just reply?

It doesn't happen in topic reply notifications here, only in pm notifications.

No, you didn't say that at first. You edited your post above at 11:15, means after your last post here at 11:12.

The link in the pm notification forwards me to the address I posted above, so I just don't know who posted pm to me. How comes you are interested in from whom I got a pm?

Yes, I edited my post to make it clearer. Even when it said "got a PM from tiltjlp" it meant you did, not me.
Then don't follow the link. log on and check your PM's.

Why not directly post a pm to tiltjlp? How do you know if he answers or not?

My PM links work fine and i don't know why your urls are screwy, notice the 2 http:// entries and the extra slash after pinballnirvana.com //, that's the problem. Can you run a virus scan on your pc and let me know the results?

AVG Free Edition with actual updates doesn't find a virus here.

Have a look at the link. In e-mail notification you see

http://http://www. ...

the link address when moving mouse over it is

http://http//www. ...

The : after the second http isn't there.

I didn't notice before, but my name is missing in all notifications (topic reply and pm). The difference is that in reply notifications the link is working correct. I can't look at older pm notifications how they appear because I don't save, but delete them. But this was the first time I notice that the link in pm notification doesn't work.

Yeah thats messed up yogi, I'm going to have to figure it out,
your links have extra http's and slashes for some reason AND your Username is missing.
It's hard to see the url's you posted, they are automatically shortened but you can use the quote or code tags to make them appear!

Do you really exist?

I didn't post real url's, but only the beginning of them followed by ... to show you the difference between what is displayed and what's in the link behind. Sorry, but I don't get the full url's displayed here correctly, probably because of automatical url tags. However, the difference is the second :

My only purpose was to report about possible error. No request to change anything. I can handle. Don't get angry about.

Thank's for the bug report! I'll have to try and fix the problem and i just noticed the urls you posted were intentionally shortened, sorry.

the url for everyone should be:

I need to discover why your name doesn't appear...

I copied and pasted the everyone url into firefox. Works!

How about you post me a pm and I will see what's the link in the notification?

I finally discovered the reason for the incorrect url in your email but it hasn't been fixed yet....

It was difficult to track down but the pm notification email with the wrong link only happens when someone donates points to you, regular PM emails work fine.

I don't care about the points whatever they are good for. I only took notice of any points when I posted and become forwarded back to the thread a few times. Anywhere to view at and to manage them?

As I told you in reply the links in the email and the pm worked fine. Sorry for the trouble. Purpose was only to report of possible error.

This is a bug in the point/item, donation/trade email PM notification system, the link in the email is wrong and i appreciate the report because i didn't know about the error.

Anywhere to view at and to manage them?

Currently, You can go to the shop link at the top of the page and buy images from the Image Shop. (Effects Shop is not working properly) The images will appear in your profile...
