How to get VP 9.xx working

Hi Guys!
I'm not sure if I am the only one with this problem?
VP9 (I tried all Versions) do not work on my computer (3GHz Dualcore + Radeon 4850). After the ball leaves the lane it hangs in the upper area of the table and don't fall down. I can move the ball around manually with the tilt keys but that's all.
Is there a workaround about this issue? A dokument I have not read?

Thanks Kurt! Thats the solution. This means VP9 does not support keymapping software and game controllers?

@JoJo I use an xbox 360 wireless pad and Xpadder key mapping software with VP 9.02. It does work but you have to do a little work around to get it to work. All you have to do is make sure you load and start the table first. Then plug in your controller. Not sure if this works with other controllers, I only tried it with a 360 controller.

I use a Saitek P880 controller with Xpadder.
