Get well soon. Lots of grunt work on my end,
1. Making UV Maps for primitive graphics, (so I don't have to take 3 months trying to learn enough about Blender to do so) even if it's just basic, I can always use photoshop to redo the textures. (something missing from FP as well, the basic sphere mapping in VP just isn't doing the job, so a proper texture map of the models would be far more suitable.)
2. finding usable code and as many examples for primitives like flippers, bumpers etc. I've already dipped into my archives and found a few things, but it's tough to find stuff even with google. I'm working on custom table lighting effects as well (roughed in now actually) so stuff like that. (couldn't find any? No one has done it maybe?)
3 I may redo the voices as well, a lot of stuff that I wanted were never done, as studio time was limited, so I only got about a 1/3 of the voices, and I had to cut out bits and repaste them to get more. The original idea was to have a female voice and a secondary voice (cavern slave voice) as well, just no voice actors available. To be honest, I always felt the voices were a bit cheesy, and I wanted them to be pure evil. :)
This is way down the road though.
4. Knowledge stuff. I haven't really done anything in VP in over 7 years now. I'm really behind the times, so there is a lot of stuff I need to relearn, even on simple things to others (reason I am not touching VPX, just way to complicated and I don't want to be spending years on this just trying to figure out everything, especially since it's all scattered all over the place. VP9.9.2 is hard enough as it is)
As I move along, I will ask for help in my thread if I get stuck, or are preparing for the next stage of the process)
