Judge Dredd prototype.

i was just wondering if anybody has incorperated this into a VPM table???

Yes I saw it. I've also been lucky to play 2 of the 3 existing, known, original prototype machines with the dead world enabled. We have the roms, they're supported by VPM, and they're on the IPDB. As for incorporating it, PacDude might have. I'm not sure.

I think the prototype machine, while cool, should have been made to handle all 6 balls in the dead world device instead of just 3. The rules make it rather difficult to utilize the concept though. I mean with so many balls in the machine and so many varied ways to get different multiball modes, it's just fine without this mod or any real ball locking. The game isn't less fun without the feature.

But the rules may of turned out different if this feature was not cut.
