While sorting through my playfield images the past few days, I've come across a few flat early flippered EMs. So far there are about a half dozen, but there might be a few more before I get finished working through my 750 or so playfield inages. If anyone might be interested let me know, and you will have first choice before I add them to the Image Gallery.

What do you have? Any tables which haven't been reproduced yet? I am interested in Jive Time, Travel Time, Seven Up (Williams) and just about anything not reproduced yet - I prefer flippered tables and nice high res images, but if I know what you have I can decide. Oh, and put them in the image gallery anyway - might as well have a few repros if a few people want to do the same table.

DS

PS: I wouldn't mind a go at Nine Sisters too (no pun intended) it's an interesting table.

I'll le you know which flippered ones I have in a day or two, since I'm still sorting through everything. And yes, I'll add them to the Image Gallery like I always do. Nine Sisters would be a great table to be able to play, but so far I've never seen a decent pix of it.

OK David, and anyone else who might be interested, here is the list of flippered images I have. They are perfectly flat uless noted.

Chicago Coin Not 100% flat

Pin Bowler & BG
Pirate Gold & BG
Punchy & BG

Chicago Coin Flat

Hula Hula & BG
Super Hockey & BG
Thrill & BG
Stage Coach Rough

Exhibit Supply

Playtime & BG
Vanities & BG

Genco Canasta & BG Rough
South Pacific & BG
Keeney Poker Face
Harvet Moon Not 100% flat
Motocross Toy

Slim picking, but there might be some already in the Image Gallery, although they may not be marked as flippered. The one I'd pick if I were going to do a flippered table would be Thrill, which is the best of the bunch I think.

I'll have a look at those on the IPDB when I get a chance, sounds interesting. Must finish World's Series first though - it's now back to a single layer machine but it took hours to adjust everything to the larger size.

If those are Exhibit flippered tables that would be cool, there aren't too many of them. Haven't seen a good pic of Jeanie by Exhibit have you?

DS

No Jeanie, and the two flippered Exhibits are marginal. But I was surprised how many decent commercial flipperless I ran across that were totally flat. What I hate the most is when there's an old ad but some small company that was in business for a few years 50 to 75 years ago. I figure the odds of winning the lottery are better than finding any images for those tables, and I don't play the lottery.

John

Some of the pics of these on the IPDB look OK, but if you have better, alls the better.

I will have to wait until I finish World's Series and then I'll look at the pics in your gallery. If you have hi res pics do you make them smaller for the gellery? In other words, do you have larger versions of some of the pics in your gallery.

No, most of what I have came for the IPDB, but I'm always on the look out so I'll let you know. All I do is crop away some of the background when the images are off centered. I might have croppeed the totally flat ones to use for possible projects, but I upload them at whatever resolution I find them, so what is in the Image Gallery is the best I've found. And once I upload them, I delete them from my HD unless I plan on making the table.

So at least if you like something from the Image Gallery that I've cropped, you can usually grab the undoctored version form the IPBD. And you might what to check out our Links, which have a fair number of places where you might find newer EMs and such. You might also check out Fungus Amongus as well as Mr Hides if you haven't. http://www.fungus-amungus.com/home.html

John

OK, I have trouble navigating your galleries - is there an easy way? I can't see an early flippered category.

DS

There's so much in there, it can be a bit daunting, so I've given you two links. The first link is to flat or mostly flat images, most of which should be early EMs. The 2nd link is the both flipperless and early EMs, and most are not anywhere near flat. But if you can flatten images, you might find a few worthwhile gems among the junk. Happy hunting David.

Now I get it, there are flippered machines in the flipperless collection. That's what has been confusing me as I didn't look there.

Sorry about that. Very poor planning on my part. If I even find the spare time I should see if it's possible create new catagories and move the flippered things to their own section. At the time I thought I'd only be adding a few.
