I like that video and song as well. I don't find it that disturbing although you can't go by me. I have many friends that work with or are in punk and death metal bands. I've seen many more disturbing things from them believe me.

Yeah, I grew up on reading Poe and Hitchcock compendiums ("Stories That Scared Even Me" freaked me out at the time), watching gorehound films and, unknown to me at the time, offering my own horror and sci-fi ideas to Hollywood hopefuls who ran off and used them, so I am usually immune to things that might be pretty strong to others.

It also helps that I went through four surgeries while growing up, *I think*.

Awww! That's so sweet! Tom Petty finally found a girlfriend! Who else but a cadaver could like a guy like him anyway! Now, did her eyes open because they got wet and the glue holding them shut dissolved? Or did she really come back to life? Her face never changes so it's tough to tell. And no I didn't find that disturbing either, but then again one of my favorite movies is 'Cabin Fever' I LOVE that flick, I think it's hilarious! And anything 'dawn of the dead' related, The Evil Dead series, Wes Craven, Stephen King, you see a trend here perhaps? Well, I'm probably the last person to find anything distasteful, but I think it's cool if she 'felt' his love enough to 'come back' ok, maybe just a wee tad macabre!

Yeah, It's just a music video. I like the song and I like all kinds of music. I'm a horror movie fan so it takes a lot to disturb me, certainly some music video is not going to do it for me. My Parents took me to the all night drive-in back when I was a little kid, so I grew up watching all kinds of sci-fi and horror movies. If it's fake like a movie or music video then it's no big deal to me. Watching the News and seeing real horror well that's a different story, I do find that disturbing. Later

I used to hang on ogrish.com (which doesn't exist anymore). On that site they would have stuff like terrorism beheadings taken live with guys getting their heads sawed off at the roadside, that was some sick shit! car accidents motorbike gettiong crushed by buses, ok I watch some strange stuff with my buddies...
