great stuff, older version I could see DMD, play indesktop mode... anyway to enable this easily? great update.
 
All the DMD and display segments from before were removed.
Not more HUD DMD to turn on/off. I did intend to do it (really easy as it's just duplicate lines of code to a new HUD DMD) but I ran out of time and it'll be some weeks until I get back to update.

If anyone want's to update the table, go ahead. It's free so MOD away otherwise, you'll have to wait.

As a work around, you can use manual camera mode and set it up so you can see the DMD at the bottom of the backglass. There are other ways, like using DMDExt.

there is plenty of skill shots, an upper flipper skill shot and drop targets to keep me busy.

found a small error in your script, so no right flipper dof was triggered...

should be:
PinMechSound ("mech_Flipper_R0"&Int(Rnd*7)+1), RightFlipper, GenVol, 802, 1, "flipper"

Thanks for finding that. I'll take a note and correct that in a future update. And now I have to correct other tables too... (99% sure). THANKS for the extra work :p (just kidding mate, I appreciate you tested the fix).

To be honest, DOF should be disabled by default because I have no way to test so that in itself is a mistake too :D

I'm on pinball hiatus for the time being and should be back only in September though.

If you find something else, let me know please.
 
Your welcome. I have a lot of DOF toys in my cab. And i'm happy about every FP table with some DOF effects.
 
Updated the file for AnonTet to use the HUD DMD with the game. Seems to work well for playing for 20 mins straight, no errors (so far). Fixed that DOF issue as well. Upping shortly.

I know Brendan from years ago and he was more than happy that all of his games are getting FizX facelifts. Hat's off to AnonTet and everyone else. I was waiting for this one and happy to chip in. It's a nice break from working anything Retropie or Batocera since Pinball always has been a first love.

Question : Did you include the fix from @digitalarts above as well? I'll do it later for all other releases anyway.

Just one note: FP has its own "Toggle HUD" FP key in the config. For the sake of coherence with all other tables released until today, maybe that should be used?
 
Yea, it’s using that toggle key. And yes, I added that fix as well. Thanks for the work on this, other than Sonic, its my favorite table of his.

Greatly appreciated. Punks and I unfortunately had a falling out for a few reasons, but I do make new images from time (when I have time anyway) that usually get posted on backups-me.
 
From what i've read I was under the impression the HUD was being toggled on/off with special2key instead.

It works, I tested it all before I uploaded it. Typically, it’s turned on and off with ~ in most games regardless. Didn’t think you’d answer since you said you’d be out until September so took it upon myself to add all that. I personally set my BAM activation key to something else but you can use both at the same time.
 
Also both sides of my girlfriend / fiancés family are from Portugal even though they live here in the States. Plan on visiting in the next few years. 👍
 
I'm just on a hiatus of coding for FP, not lack of internet.
I can't live without internet so I'm not always that much away :D

Sounds like a plan! My parents may visit there before I do. They want to hit up Morocco and Portugal in the fall.
 
Btw talked to Brendan, he’s thrilled people are evolving his tables. His Sonic table is insane now with Terrys crew.
 
AnonTet, some are seeing a “guide2” error starting the game. I and some others don’t have the issue but don’t think it’s affiliated with what I added with the HUD DMD; someone claims they updated all the BAM and FP assets and they’re still getting it. Not near my computer to check but you may have a better view (or time) until I can get home.
