Munster table at 90% completion!!

I am at about 90% of the way done. a ramp hang up problem and some more sounds into the lanes, but that's about it! maybe some more graphical touchups on the field. here is a pic of it so far. and yeah those ARE colored slings! I'll post how I did that elsewhere. but for now enjoy. If you don't know the Munsters, google them, watch a few episodes...

I've once seen one of the movies (I don't know which) and thought it was some (a little) fun. The series isn't well known here. I guess it was created as http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Addams_Familycompetition to The Addams Family?

Yes, the show was on at the same time as the Addams Family, and ironically, lasted about the same time....roughly 2 seasons. Not necessarily a competition, but the niche of the period --- those two shows, Batman and others. Really campy, clean fun. Its a shame that way after the fact, they realized how well and good a comedy duo Al Lewis and Fred Gwynne were; their timing was impeccible. Just glad we have the movies and episodes to watch.

A few years ago, they had a slot machine with the Munsters theme. This was before the shows made it to video and couldn't be seen. That machine was a hoot!

The Munster table is 99% done just ironing out bugs

just like 'The Monkees' was made as a tv series to compete with the Beatles (who had at one time had their own tv show also). although the Monkees show wasn't that great it developed a cult following to this day. Then there was good ol' Batman, the series! what a campy show! it was hilarious at the time and it featured all the famous comics and actor,actresses of the day. heck you weren't anyone unless you had a guest shot on Batman! maybe I will do a pin based on that show, if I can get the resources scraped up! but for now my Munster WIP pin is being playtested for bugs, by a friend ( I have two bugs I can't figure out) but should be ready within the next 4 days. here is an updated pic of the finished table. It rounds out to 20 megs! so I'm trying to cut that down a bit, mostly due to graphix and sound clips from the show, I hope 20 mgs, isn't too big for a table!

i'm still jonesing for an episode of "car 54" they were both in- season two, episode 22, "the biggest day of the year". it was utterly brilliant. before i caught that, i had no idea those 50's shows could be so sharp at times / borderline surreal.

unfortunately no they just represent the bonus light coffins under them. But that was a good idea, too late now, I have way too much stuff in it already, I just uploaded it too, so have fun with it it stands at 16 megs
