News about our old friend Rodgz

I received a reply to an e-mail I sent to Roger Knight, or Rodgz. the self-proclaimed Prince of Smilies. He hopes to return to VP before too long, but right now, he's having some serious health problems.He has some extremely painful knee trouble, and was due to have replacement knee surgery performed. But luckily they discovered what might have been a fatal blood clot, and the surgery has been postponed at least until June of next year.

He said that he misses the many friendships he made while part of the VP community, He also misses playing VP, since he can only sit up for very short periods of time. I brought him up to speed on the soap opera we call VP, and told him we'll keep a good thought for him. I'm sure you'll all join me in wishing the best for the reigning grump of the VP community.

It's sad to hear that. It never ceases to amaze me how people seem to slip through the cracks around here and you just tend forget about them because you're not sure why they're not posting. Some people seem to simply take long breaks from VP and then show up again. Some seem to be doing their thing elsewhere or privately, etc. But in any case, I hope Roger will be OK. He's a nice guy.

Just wondering

It's been two months since I posted Rodgz's e-address elsewhere, but I never did post it here for some reason. I'm going to write and wish him a Merry Ho Ho, and send him my Poosh M Up Rodeo as a Xmas present. Might cheer him up to hear from some of his old cronies.
