VP8 Chicago Coin EM Recreation Pirate Gold Released v1.0

Hi

I have completed Chicago Coin's Pirate Gold and uploaded it to IRPinball and Pinball Nirvana - it should be available soon.

This game is switchable between Add A Ball and Replay modes, see instructions on backglass. Read the release notes for an explanation of the rules, I had to make a calculated guess as to the rules as no-one seems to know them.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me in building tables, and special thanks to MrHide for the pics of this table. Thanks listed below the backglass.

wow guys ! i just discoverd these programs! i am very excited!

i just played this one and loved it. great work.

will someone please link me to a newbie / how to guide to set this thing up properly

i can open each game after unzipping it and using visual pinball.... but....

when i use the launcher im getting errors and what appears to be giant backglass displays

To fix most graphic errors.... Make sure you are using Visual Pinball version 8.1.1

Don't run VP in a window..... Always run full screen.

I don't use front ends with VP, I just click on "file" then "open" in the editor and choose a table, it doesn't get any easier then that.

Sometimes I still have problems on some tables and then I use VP version 7 and run Scapino's batch file. I do this when balls don't work right on some ramps or if they don't even come out to the plunger. VP 8.1.1 fixes a lot of problems, but it also created some problems, we have to live with them as the creator of VP only shows up about every 2 years, works on the program for a couple of weeks and then disappears again. It's very frustrating, but you get used to it after awhile.
