Posts in very bad style

I just took a little time to read in the actual threads here. Most are about only one theme. You maybe noticed that I didn't post in any of them. The reason is that I don't like the style you talk to each other. I'm sure that I probably missed some of the discussed content, but independant of that I'm aware of the content anyway. It's nothing about right or wrong. I just want to say that I don't like your posts in such bad style and I'm shocked. Be sure that I don't mean (only) the one member, that seems to be the (deserved) victim of his own posts. I didn't know and never considered, that some of you can become that hateful. The fun I once had is gone away here. I hope fun returns somewhere along the way.

Yogi, I couldn't agree with you more. But the fact is, we feel like we have to make a stand against him for what he did. It wasn't just abuse, it was deeply offensive material including Nazi imagery and graphic pictures of aborted foetuses. It was utterly disgusting, unforgivable behaviour, there is no way we can ignore it, and we cannot believe he wasn't given an immediate lifetime ban.

Just to add. We all want to get back to normal, friendly pinball talk, but we can't feel comfortable doing that knowing he is here. I'm only sticking around to see if we can't convince him to leave or gets banned. I just hope the admin realise that the only way normal service can be resumed is if he is gone forever. In my view, his presence is what is stopping people getting back to normal, and it is killing the site, as your opinions demonstrate.

I feel I owe you an apology Yogi, since I'm going hot and heavy against Bizzle. The major reason is that Bizzle isn't sorry for anything he has done, and doesn't think he has done anything wrong, period. One of the problems, in my opinion, is that a warning is always given. And in this situation, a warning really wasn't needed, becuse this fool kew full well what he did, and even stated why he was doing it. Once he's gone I'll be glad to get back to pinball full time.

I understand how hard it is not to go on and on on something you feel strong about. But Fuck both of you. You have dissed me for doing that very thing and how many members really think what I did was bad enough for a D/A? let alone a ban.

I haven't dissed you, and I'd ask you not to throw abuse about like that, it only makes you look bad.

What you should be saying is 'how come I got ban for what I did, when all he got is a warning'. Everything you've ever said and done wrong on here is nothing compared to what he did. That's a double standard.

It's amazing how little free speech means to people once THEY are offended by someone and yet how much it means to them when they are the ones being censored. Bypassing the set in place rules and banning someone just because an admin doesn't like someone is the first sign that admin doesn't belong there in the first place. Maybe that person should go meditate on that. I had to resolve my problems with Phoenixx by methods other than outright banning someone. Maybe John needs to do that too.

Sorry Highrise, but I'm fairly liberal minded. I think people are put on this planet to learn and you can't teach very well by banning (shunning) people or in the case of the dark ages (or modern day Iraq) cutting off their heads. I didn't see any of this stuff Ron posted (seeing I left because of people like John and Shiva trying to get rid of me too for similar personal biases), but if he's stopped after a warning, then maybe he got the message.

Steve seems comfortable dealing with the situation. I applaud his calm demeanor.

yes, well I'm a lot more liberal and open minded than you guys seem to think. As a matter of fact, I'm not personally offended or insulted by anything Ron has done. There is no personal issue - finding Nazi regalia and pictures of mutilated dead babies offensive shows my humanity, not some personal bugbear.

Stuff like that is an affront to any medium, never mind a pinball one, and I don't think people should be exposed to that kind of thing in a place like this, and people that do that sort of thing should be chucked out on the spot. If that makes me illiberal, then so be it. So I guess when Hitler started spouting off about killing the Jews, we should have just said 'freedom of speech' and slapped his wrist? I suppose if Islamic terrorists publish images of people being beheaded, or organise rallies calling for innocent people to be butchered, we should just stand by and let them have their say? There is a simple principle here. Some things are offensive to all rational, thinking people, and in these situations freedom of speech is not as important as the rights of any individual to be protected from it.

Besides, if the admin here are championing free speech, why did they tell him he would be banned if he did it again, and also delete the images? They did that because they know it was wrong, their actions demonstrate they know it was wrong. There is no argument here about whether what Bizzle said and did was wrong and had to be stopped. The issue here is how much punishment he should get. They were soft on him for actions that caused a huge amount of offence to everyone on here that's all. Nazism is an incredibly offensive thing to most people in Europe, and you can be actually imprisoned for glorifying it. I don't believe people should be punished in that way, and I would actually stand up for their rights, but I wouldn't allow them the freedom to publish whatever they wanted, wherever they wanted. I would ban them from speaking in certain places.

I'm not asking for Ron's head, or for him to be arrested or something, I'm just asking that someone who has brought this forum into great disrepute by his actions, someone who has failed to apologise or show any remorse whatsoever, be prevented from posting here any more. He still has the rest of the internet, and indeed the world to fill with his ill-educated, ignorant psycho babble.

You can't decide if you didn't see and can't see anymore what's the talk about. That's my view. I missed the arbitrative posts of him. It's not the same if you were told what was going on. It's only imagination and not objective.

With posts in very bad style here I meant insulting/abusive posts sliding in dirty words language. What do you think you can reach? It let's you shine in the same bad light yourself. It doesn't help, but provokes reaction in the same style and makes one immobile in thinking. I don't like to see people that I consider as like-minded people (or as cyber friends) to change speech into unacceptable. That was the point. I don't like to see you become mad/insane losing integrity.

I firstly didn't talk about bizzle and his behavior and his posts wherever.

As the thread is entered by right or wrong posts about bizzle I have to say this: I can't decide as I didn't see. Maybe (or probably) he has earned any actions against him.

Sorry, but I think that's the language barrier.
