Sweet pinball & arcade shadow boxes [arcade art]

What's a shadow box, you ask? Well in this case, it's a deep picture frame holding multiple cutaway art layers, covered by a glass front. It's meant to be illuminated from an external light source, hence it being different from light box art.

I first saw this guy's stuff on Reddit, and really liked some of these:

But I must say-- seeing all these shadow boxes does make me wonder how some of these would look with internal lighting / backlighting. For example, as modern-style stained glass pieces...
