Tomorrow, Wendy

That was really, really nice. Beautiful track Jon. Not heard of Concrete Blonde before this either so shall try and obtain some more tracks.

Incidentally, the vocalist sounds like Grace Slick in the era when she sang with Paul Kanter ... Baron Von Tollbooth & The Chrome Nun. One of my fav albums of all time without doubt. :)

Thanks Jon. :)

Scary Style Concrete Blonde...

Tried to upload this yesterday but for whatever reason the file I uploaded only lasted for 1 minute 1 second. :( So I deleted the post and offending track.

Persevering and all became well ......

The Grace Slick tune is fine and check out the lyrics...

ACROSS THE BOARD
(Grace Slick)
Paul Kantner

Somebody aimed you when you were young
But nobody ever fired
Now you just sit there inside the gun
Bullet you're getting old and tired

If you want out - get out and get it all
I mean a fair trial is no trial at all
You're not guilty you can't even move without
A human hand
You can't cock yourself woman

You need a man

All the way you need him
All the way
All the way across the floor
Across the board

The man's only got one finger
He doesn't need anymore
He makes his way one prong down

All the way
All the way
All the way across the floor

Seven inches of pleasure
Seven inches going home
Somebody must have measured
All the way down the old bone

All the way
All the way
All the way
Down the old bone

You have to admit she (Grace) has a way with words :) and doesn't she sing well! :)

God got his ass kicked....

I Love this tune...
Hey, hey...,Tomorrow Wendy is goin' to die...
We live in a small world, and i hope we make it better..

So here it is then from 1970 .... enjoy :) (He he ... I remember it from when it was first released! and I still love it.)

Just a little bit of nostalgia for the old guys! :) I'll have to dig out some Groundhogs :) Yeah, that will do it. :)

Here's a track from The Groundhogs - Thank Christ for the Bomb (1970)

Still love this album today! :)

Thank's for the Groundhog's and i appreciate Uriah Heep!

Just wanted to mention that Rush was in the 2nd Concert i attended, (1974) they kicked the shit out of a drunk Rod Stewart and another band called Black Sabbath.

Rush - now that's a name I've not heard in many, many years. Shall have to dig out something from them. Must have something about the house or attic .......

Glad you liked Uriah - I'll rip some more and upload. :)

Another UH track for your enjoyment ...

and another ...

and another ...

and another before I make a pot of tea ....

and another ...

the penultimate track ...

finally .....

All these tracks (in the order of the upload) were from the .... very 'eavy .... very 'umble album from 1970.

There was also a bonus track included on the CD that was not on the original vinyl; and here it is ....

Hope you enjoy them if not ...... there's no accounting for taste

Definitely, absolutely the last one for today. I've a garage to clear.

This one's for Jon. Rush from 1975 ...
