Gottlieb Volcano (Gottlieb, 1981) blows fuse when left flipper button is pressed

Hello,

My Volcano finally plays now, but when you hit the left flipper button the 8amb slo blo fuse in the bottom of the cabinet for the solenoids blows every time. Also, the light for the extra ball doesn't come on anymore even with a good bulb in it. Any help is greatly appreciated. @pinballdaveh

I would start by unsoldering 1 end of the flipper coil diode(s) for testing. Replace if shorted or open.
