First off, I'd like to thank JPH for being a gracious host and allowing me to make this announcement in his forum....THANKS JPH!

As some of you may know, the forum was installed Thursday afternoon, and I've been getting everything set up the last couple of days. We are in the middle stages of the upload/download section, and planning on opening up no later than Wednesday.

If you're interested in contributing to the set up of particular areas of the forum, reply here or PM me. We could use some good tutorials, resources, and installation guides.

Very nice table download lay-out. Including rating, pic, rom and table. I think the small thumb image will give a great overview on one page and easy navigation.
Hopefully the user comments will be easy accessible and fast, but the '-' before the 'user comments' does look promising.

Looking forward to the opening. Just looked at the site and saw "only a couple of days away"!

Sometimes it's a bit confusing when members write "see PM". The one that gets the PM has no problem, all the other people might be confused.

Ugh.... I should have seen that coming... I feel like I'm getting old... not so fast as I used to be... (maybe it's my slow PC?)

Anyway, I hope we could get the word about vpf.org out a bit faster so we could get some more members, but if vpf.com comes back and we get the stuff with AJ sorted out, it should work out.

Ever just had "one of those days"?

Well, due to unforeseen circumstances and the global time difference, I must put off opening for JUST ONE MORE DAY.

My apologies, but if it's not perfect, it's not worthy for this community. :)

well even if VPF comes back who's to say it'll stay up this time and not go down again. Honestly, I'll just stay here and atVPO (VP.org!). I like it here I think i'll just stick with what is up and running, well, time to go register with vpo!

I'd imagine that since the community has put up with AJ's extended neglect of VPF they can put up with just about anything, but I understand the need to have everything "just so" for the unveiling...

well it's not that we have 'put up' with his neglect, we just didn't have a choice, as it was kind of forced upon us, but I agree, if you're gonna' do it do it right then we can wait one more day (but only one, then we're all gonna come after you...)

The masses that have lingered at VPF could have migrated away long ago, there were alternatives... You're at one of the alternatives now. That means people put up with it.

BTW, I love PN.... Jon (may the pinball gods bless him) lets me host anything I want here and as a trusted uploader, I even have a view of all the files in one list to download, as you can see, he trusts us only to edit, delete or upload our own files as they are instantly updated without the need of approval.

Do you upload your tables here? Do you need access to edit, update or delete your tables?

Maybe we can get JPH to offer all downloads on one page to everyone. It's pretty cool, because I can do it by author or table name.
