The worst thing is that you're limited to so many posts per day...otherwise nothing counts. (Though evidently editing still does, oddly enough.) So if you're in a proverbial heated discussion with someone (well, in my case it's not exactly "proverbial" all the time...lol!) sooner or later what you post will be meaningless.

The points system was added as a trial and will be upgraded soon, there is nothing to purchase with points but you can change your title in the shop.

I removed the 10 post limit per day for points, didn't know it existed!

Actually, jph, I think you've gotta be careful about that. Since there are always people that take things like this seriously (or at least consider them a challenge, even if all in fun), one of the reasons that limits are placed on them is to discourage spamming.
