Notes: | Gottlieb documentation unusually shows two production runs for this game: November 1964 for a quantity of 2,825 games. February 1965 for a quantity of 410 games. The game in the manufacturer's flyer shows a ball shooter with a plastic beehive escutcheon. Machines from later in production reportedly had the beehive replaced with the newer full metal plunger housing (flat, not beehive) and a heavier duty ball lift. The two production run quantities may coincide with this change of shooter escutcheon. There may be other differences between the two runs of which we are not aware. Happy Clown appears to be the last Gottlieb pin game produced with the beehive escutcheon. |
