16x9 question

Getting back into VP after several months and I see there have been lots of changes made.

What I would like to know is if the 16x9 versions can be played without having to rotate the screen? I'd like to play it as Scap's screen caps show, without the backglass being "scrunched" and my monitor settings set at 0 degrees of rotation, but I despite my keen computer and VP knowledge, I cannot seem to figure this out.

Is it even possible?

Either your monitor, or your video card, will have a setting to display a 4:3 ratio game in its correct aspect. In my case there is a monitor selection that puts black bars on the sides when it senses a 4:3 ration input resolution.

Seems like no matter what I tried in that regard, I couldn't get the result I desired. :verysad:

Not sure if it matters, but I am on a laptop, and even if I use whatever controls to rotate the screen 90 degrees clockwise, I cannot see the flippers as I cannot get the picture to maintain the aspect ratio, even though I told the graphic driver to.

That 16:9 version is made to be played in a rotated state. Its for cabinet style machines. You should be using the regular 4:3 version on your laptop.

I have not made a 16:9 landscape version of the table.

That's what I was looking for.

I like the 16x9 versions as they have the full backglass as it just adds to the experience more, but yes I do have the regular versions as well.
