Data East Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends (Data East, 1993) display problem. DMD

Hi. I have a problem with a DMD from my Rocky and Bullwinkle. When turning on the machine, I can see the version of the machine on the display and then nothing. The game starts and everything else works perfectly, but the display does not turn on again until I turn off the machine and turn it on again. I can see only the version of the display. Any help is welcome. I understand that the voltages are fine and the DMD is fine because it lights up perfectly during the boot of the display.

What does the dmd show during the self test modes?

Nothing. It shows when on, version 1.30, year. And then nothing more.

Other than changing the ribbon cable from the cpu to the dmd driver board, which i doubt is the problem, remove the the dmd and dmd driver board and send them away to be tested.
