MichaelBtheGameGenie has a youtube video up on the latest AtGames Pinball news, and it's good news for people who want to buy the APU or modify their existing one. Here's a snippet
You can see the video chat here:
As from my point of view, there has been too many quality issues with this unit, and the Rachel board (which adds HTML support for the backglass so you can put in a bigger monitor) really should have been put in from the beginning. I haven't been posting a lot because of this, I can say there has been too many problems (especially a cable problem and shipping has been a bit of a disaster) from my end to consider purchasing this unit. Up here in Canada, the shipping to customers are more and more delayed, and a lot of units seem to be defective or have minor issues. considering the price, you expect better, especially up here where you can spend up to 1300 dollars after taxes.
Still, It's far better than the 1Up unit. Personally, I will wait till AtGames releases a second generation, and then judge accordingly. Over 1300 dollars is a wack of cash, and on top of it, the additional charges for things like the Zac tables and the joystick attachment are just out and out gouging their customers. This unit is just not worth that, especially with all the issues I am seeing here in constant posts to FB and forums. Hopefully, we will hear soon what fixes will be coming and new features.
we have news on the wave 8 orders for the AtGames Legends Pinball Plus as well as an update on the availability and pricing of the Rachel board. Maybe even some prizes! Hope to see you in the chat!
