Gottlieb Big Hit (Gottlieb, 1977) em tech help

hey guys need some help with a 77 gottlieb big hit. can anybody send me a pic of the ball count unit, front and back zero pos, i think i may have put this thing back together wrong. i have the papers, but cant quite figure out from that, the gear and stop post postion. so far everything i can get from the schematic, and read online all points back to the ball count unit. thanks for any help

I can't help you on positioning but if you could, this is one table that's never been done in vp before. If possible please post some good pictures when you get it lit up.

I've got a 1974 Gottlied Magnotron. Would that use the same ball count unit? If so, I can post some pics...

77 Sure Shot ball count

I don't know if Sure Shot uses the same ball count - but -- here is how mine works. (I don't have photos)
1) when the game starts, one coil fires, the ball count wheel wheel rotates until it hits the stop. At this position the contact blade has rotated past the first contact dot and is resting on the melamine plate. The 2 switches (in one stack) are pushed open.
2) the ball is ejected to the shooting lane, the other coil fires, the contact blade advances and is resting on top of the first contact dot. The 2 switches close.
3) each ball advances the assembly 1 position.
4) the last ball advances the blade to the 6th contact dot and the single contact set opens.

Use Super Lube to lubricate the shaft. (it never gums up) I only wind the spring 2 turns. If the unit is clean and lightly lubricated, it should only take 1 or 2 turns of spring tension to get it to rewind.
