Gottlieb Bronco (Gottlieb, 1977) EM problems

Hi all,
New to this forum... and sorry to have to ask, but I just picked up a second hand EM Bronco (Gottleib), which the previous owner stated that was working... well thats another issue

After replacing a new power supply, and replacing fuses, it powers up... to an extent where lights come on and the tilt relay ( which I dont actually know it's location yet) continues to "roll" with out resetting. flippers don't activate and there is no game over light - just tilt.

edit: on the base of the unit, mid section under the play board, there is a rotating set of switching cams or plates - which continiously rotates, and the tilt resets again while power is on (end edit)

Inside, behind the coin door, the tilt mechinism is clear and not bridging, I have checked remaining fuses, ( which wern't replaced) and back board contacts etc, but now at a los of the next stage.

A repairer that deals with these EM machines has quoted me an hourly rate and travelling expense that is outrageous and stated that it could take many days at $120.00 per hour to find the issue! I was hopeing that someone here could give me a direction to check before going down the "professional repair" path.

No one have any thoughts...?
It now doesn't "roll" i.e. the swithcing mechanism has stopped and isn't rotating, but it just buzzes loudly and wont reset.

I really dont know where to start and I feel that the service consultant is just trying to take me for a ride, as he wants to take it away to fix.

I take it that there isn't a reset sequence or similar?

Hello, I had A similer problem with my 62 williams em. What was happening with mine was the lock relay seliniod was not strong enough to hold the switches closed, I was advised to wedge it closed till I could replace the seleniod.
