Can't start Visual Pinball X Tables

Hello, I'm a newb here. I started with the Tee'd off table and roms. I can get it to load in Visual Pinball X, the plunger and nudge works, but I can't start the game.

I have default settings and tried "5" to enter a bunch of coins and also tried "1" and "S" with no luck.

Am I missing something easy?

Tee'd Off needs a pre-initialized nvram to accept coins.
Find nvram package here...

Move contents of zip package to your nvram folder, located in your VPinMAME folder.

So when you press 5, the number of coins go up on the DMD?

I was in full screen mode, but when I put it in windowed mode, I don't see the credits going up, so that does look like it is the issue with the .nv files, but they're definitely in the right spot

Try this if coins are not going up when pressing 5.
This is how you initialize the nvram by hand.
With table running and you are looking at DMD....

1. Press "End" to open the coin door
2. Use the "7" key to bring up the menu
3. Use the left flipper until "Game Adjustments" is highlighted, then use right flipper to select.
4. Press the start button ("1" on my machine) to load factory settings
5. Press start one more time to select english.
6. Press F3 to restart DMD.

You may need to close table fully, then restart.

Now you should see credits going up when pressing 5.

Thanks, pressing "7", I do see things like sound test, but I don't see anything about Game adjustments. I think the other issue I have is that the flippers don't work, so I need to figure that out as well. I feel like they should be working since the plunger and nudges are. The default is left and right shift, and I see that in my mappings.

I blew away the .nv file and let it rebuild and now my flippers are functioning in the menu.

The flippers don't actually move when using them for navigating adjustments.
Right above sound test, is Game Adjustments.
