The chicken tax is why we don't have the new small little trucks anymore and a lot of things we loved.
You will hear a lot of other reasons on the web and at YouTube as to why we don't have the new little trucks anymore.
EPA and CAFE are just a few examples....it's smoke & mirrors and lies.... it's the greed that goes way back to the 60's.
Foreign auto makers still make the smaller trucks but don't export them to the US because of the chicken tax.
Even Chevy and Ford discontinued the S10 and the small Ranger to meet the CAFE and EPA standards.

Toyota and Nissan manufacture cars and trucks in the US and supply plenty of jobs for Americans but we can't have the minitrucks.
this law has created a ripple effect on the global economy...
The chicken tax also killed profits on exporting to the US because it made the profit margin very small after paying
the 25% tax.
Foreign auto makers stopped exporting the small trucks to the US.
