Williams Fire! (Williams, 1987) Ball waiting

I have a Williams Fire and it says ball waiting. Switch edge test ok. Wires all look ok. Coil test shows several dont work. No stuck switches that I can see. Help?

Does the 'ball waiting' message remain after poking a few playfield targets ?

When powering up it lights up and makes sounds what appears to be normal. When there is a credit and you push start it fires the left trap coil? And says ball waiting. Nothing happens when targets are touched. I will have to see if the message is still there after tapping targets. Its not at my house so might take a few days.

If several coils are out it could be part of a/c alternating circuit. That would cause several flash lamps to fail too. Re-check the solenoid test and note which coils and flashlamps are out. Closely check fuses. No stuck switches...Why is a coil firing? Is the coil stuck on? Shorted driver transistor?. Are three balls in the trough?
