Fungi the new plastic!

when the cheap plastics came out nobody considered the idea of what to do with it after its life was over because it was cheap.
here we are decades later and have all these problems because we don't know what to do with it after its life is over or how to recycle it....
there are a lot of plastics and waste we don't know what to do with it.
now we have this fungus thing....i wonder what problems this will create 20yrs down the road??
maybe a fungus in the ocean that we can't control just like the micro-plastics??
we have polluted air, chemtrails, polluted oceans, rivers, chemical spills, tanker spills and goes on forever what we are doing to this planet.
we are slowly killing this beautiful planet with all the wreckless mismanagement.

I agree. The first step should be to replace styrofoam because none of the recycle companies will accept it.

hi George, yeah, styrofoam and a lot of garbage is another problem.
this garbage is polluting the oceans, the landfills and everywhere because the makers didn't come up with a way to recycle
it after its life was over..

Algae is also an option.

that's not a solution.
we have been using the oceans like a garbage dump.
how much longer can this go on??
we need to cleanup and stop dumping.
nature is going to turn on us and make us pay for what we have done to the environment.
climate change might be how the planet is making us pay for what we have done.
nature can heal if we give it time....might take hundreds of years for nature to heal what we have done to the planet.
if we keep dumping into the ocean, rivers and air it can't heal.

here is another problem that has been ignored kicking the can down the road.
large ships burn what is called bunker fuel or heavy fuel oil then illegally discharge the waste overboard
with a magic pipe.
