Future pinball editor not saving

Can you believe, iv'e only just noticed that the future pinball editor is not saving the table stetting F1 after pressing save after exit. I could have sworn it was. How odd.
The VP tables always save

What table settings are you talking about? You mean the "FP Camera" settings? No, that has nothing to do with the Save Table. If you want a specific FP Camera view, you can only choose a default one in Video settings. If you want a camera view per table, then you need to do that using a BAM static camera view, using the BAM menu / Camera settings.

On a side note, however, i have been experimenting using the baller installer and find that i can't view the table other than normal, which is straight. All the edits no longer work like F1 – F8. All they do is to send the table spinning out of control.
Iv'e no idea what the fault is so have reinstalled future manually and all is good
i have a duel windows set up 10 and 11, so none of these experiments cause me a problem
however, i would like to understand getting it to work but i have other things to attend to so for me, it will have to be looked at now and then

Also, make sure the FP settings are correct for desktop usage. Use the settings I show in any PinEvent V2 table's install instructions.

Also, reinstall my BAM settings files for desktop. They should be in a zip file in the BAM folder. Just extract them into the BAM foler and overwrite the files already there.

One further thing, terry. In reg edit, where are your registry entries located should i wish to remove them at some point.

Many thanks my friend, :) i have managed to get the baller installer to work correctly on both future and vpx so well pleased and with a must-have for vpx pup packs Davids desktop punch

Hi, not exactly the same subject matter. Asking a question.... if I may.
I have built a fully functioning cabinet - no problems,- hours of fun.
I thought I would try my had at learning FP basic scripting/ coding.
I have downloaded FP & Bam & updated to another PC (without Baller Installer), Win 10.
Running FPLoader ( as you should) and opening the very basic new table to test.. key codes are set correctly, cannot use (shift) flippers, coin in (5), or start game (1)?? Yes the keyboard works fine elswhere...
Table nudges and ESC to exit work, all "F" buttons change table view as they should.
Tried a known functioning full table, same problem.
Zips were "unblocked", tried a full delete and reload??
default cfg file is only from the download (3kb, no info), do I need to add some desktop only settings?
I'm lost. Any suggestions?

Problem solved, it was very late last night (early am) when I posted the previous request for help.
So, long story short, a bit of sleep, fresh eyes, lots of searching...
It was the run FPLoader as administrator thing... never had to worry about it previously.
Strange, it basically worked and only effected some keys, not all? However did also notice the Editor was not allowing naming of table objects.
Found the solutuion in Terry's post for the updated installer guide (with all questions & answers attached).
You have done it again or should I say previously answered for us lesser mortals, thanks again Terry - legend.
p.s. Loved the pictures of the old driving/ racing sim setup you had, vpinball is more important!
