Yeah, something. When I clicked to post the message, I got a "Have to wait 8 seconds between posts" error, so I returned to the previous page, waited 8 seconds and then I made A Double Post.
I'm thinking the first post was sent but maybe something bounced causing a rippling effect!

I'm drunk so I guess that makes the new year come along easily. Really for me, it's just another year. I don't want to be 40 but it's inevitable. I'm glad I didn't drink too much beer. Love the stuff but I only drink one or twice every few months. Makes the buzz more fun :)

Of course I'm joking about banning someone for double posting, although I was once banned from a forum for something just as silly. This is my 35th sober New Years, and April Fools Day will mark 36 years since I have had a drink of alcohol. What mystifies me id why I was able to quit drinking but can't quit these lousy cigarettes.

I had a rum with eggnog as i also rarely drink. I used to drink like a fish but after losing my best friend in '93, (he was two weeks younger than me and just died in his sleep) it made me rethink my life. So that year i quit cigarettes after a 20 year 2 pack a day habit! I started at 13, quitting at 33! That year I also gave up most of my drinking habits, only drinking now about 2 sixes of beer a year! and maybe a drink on a holiday! I am 51, my gal smokes and ya' know to this day every now and then i miss it still! scary huh. after 17 years I still can get nicotine cravings! sucks, but just goes to show you how powerful a narcotic tobacco really is. yet pot is still illegal... and is so NON-addictive, go figure...
