Ive got the Pinball games runnung... and I LOVE Pinbot. Works perfectly, all thank to the easy install kit.

But one nagging problem I'm getting is a Black Knight table.... when it is drawing the table to play, an error code appears as below.... Cut/Paste for viewing...

Black knight script error
Line 268
Object dosen't support this property or Method:'Controller.hidden'

Any Ideas.... as Black knight is my favorite machine ever, even beating * Ball, and playboy... but Pinbot is a VERY close second...

Hug Bows...

Hmm, it ate the attachment, seems MPGs aren't allowed. Let's try that again, this time I've ZIPped the movie.

.hidden operates differently depending on it's placement in the script. Can you try moving the controller.hidden line to before, or after the controller.run line and tell me if it is better or not? Wherever position it's in now in the script, move it to the other place.

In this version (1.0), .hidden is called before .run. Reversing them unfortunately makes no difference whatsoever.

For the record, I'm having the same trouble with JP's Taxi table (1.7), and switching the .run and .hidden doesn't help anything there either. The solution is always either to a) fall back to 16 bit color or b) unhide the VPM display and then drag it offscreen. The latter is what I tend to do, I hate changing video modes.

Any more thoughts on this destruk?

I'll look at his table tonight - it's on AJ's and here I think. Didn't download the latest version yet.

I too have recently ran into a similar problem where the Display board for the scores takes up my entire screen. I can hear the game running in the background, but can't re-size the scoreboard.
I have to reboot my system to get out of VPinball?????
I have never had this problem before, but after 1.52 it happened again.

(AI prompt) Who would perform metal in a 19th Century Nevada bordello?
    Quote
  • ChatGPT @ ChatGPT:
@Free Bally!, It is highly unlikely that metal music would be performed in a 19th-century Nevada bordello, as metal music did not exist during that time period. Bordellos in the 19th century would typically feature live performances of popular music of the era, such as ragtime, jazz, or saloon songs.

@Free Bally!, Perhaps a band like Ghost, with their theatrical and dark aesthetic, would be a fitting choice for a 19th-century Wild West bordello. Their blend of heavy metal and occult themes could add an eerie and mysterious atmosphere to the setting. Plus, their elaborate costumes and stage presence would surely captivate the patrons of the bordello.
