I have a 1948 Gottlieb Buccaneer Pinball - What's it worth???

I have searched google and can't find anything on this machine, except some parts, and that it exists. Can't find any values at all. No records of people selling it. It is the 1948 Gottlieb Buccaneer model, NOT the 1977 model.

I know it is the second Gottlieb model to feature flippers. It also has 2 sets of flippers. It has a nickel coin insert.

It wasn't in great shape when I got it, but I'm having it restored by a local shop.

Any idea what I could get for this?

Its worth what someone is willing to pay. are you looking to make money off of it or just get what you have in it. I see many pins for sale none as old as yours so from the stand point of a collector I would think that a nickel pin should get you a nice return depending on the restoration outcome. How about some pictures.

This venture is purely for profit, the game itself isnt that fun to play.
I found a professional who said it would take $1400 to restore it. I also have a buddy that says he can do it as well. I am leaning towards not shelling out 1400 for it. Even if he does a half ass job (which he wont, hes done things like this before) I wont have any money in it and anything I get is profit. If we cant get enough for it, I might end up keeping it.

Well if it is just for profit and the fact that your work will bring this pin back to life I say go for it, if your buddy does the work you will have nothing to loose. from the pics it seems to be all there I would go for it if I had that pin.Great find.
