I take a break

Out of nothing I somehow feel that I totally lost any further interests in posting here and at the other pinball forums. I can't exactly say why.

I guess there are several different reasons which possibly let me feel that way, along the general/abstract feeling:

-my own incompetence to be up to date (still haven't tested/played many tables from already two years ago and something like that)
-missing feeling to be at home anywhere anymore since the disappearance of VPF.com
-different incidents and disputes between different pinball forums/forum members/staffers (VPF.com, VPF.org, PN, PU)
-VP 9xx
-...

I guess I will be around anyway, but I actually don't intend to post much anymore, but I can't promise.

Is anyone interested in continueing the gallery? I want to give it away to anyone who can and will continue it seriously and pinball forum
autonomous. Please let me know.

To all well-disposed people and friends I say thank you very very much for all you've done and for to be there, when needed.

Yogi, when I accidentally discovered Visual Pinball I almost quit because of frustration with my inability to get it working to any degree of satisfaction. Luckily before I reached my wits end I found yogiholzers installation/setup guide through VPF.com, which in turn led me to Phoenixx's Visual Install Pack. Then the fun times began!

Thanks so much for all your help in the short time I've known you. Enjoy your break.

Thank you all for your encouragement very much!

Because I forgot to disable the e-mail notifications before log-out, I recieved all your replies anyway,
without to log in again for about two days, which is absolutely unusual for me on normal weekends like
the last one.

I didn't read the e-mail notifications first and tried to ignore them, but now I just have read them all.
Before that I wasn't really aware about all the sympathy you now show/express to me. I appreciate very much.
Thank you! I felt unnoticed and because of that anonymous and not 'at home' anymore, neither here, nor over there.

Your care and encouragement let me think about my announcement to take a break (I didn't say, I leave at all,
but I thought of a longer break), although there were some incidents that didn't really please me and let me
worry, but I'm strong enough to handle this in a short time. I need to try to find another way to try to direct
things into the right direction. Not that I really believe that I can sway anyone/anything. This isn't the
right place to voice something, so I don't.

I come to conclusion that I still can't and don't really want to make a longer break. I guess it was just an
emotional reaction. Thanks for opening my eyes.

Some may blame me for intentional agitation. If so, ok, but that wasn't my intension.

Fact is that I miss individual comments and personal speech in posts/replies, PMs and e-mails. I. e. I posted
several replies in threads and PMs to different people and didn't get any answer at all. That's annoying.

Fact is that I absolutely dislike fights about hobby. That robs me any fun. It's all hobby and not business.
I can't completely ignore the fights, because they are obvious. I can only try to keep out of them.
The fights between different pinball forums/forum members/staffers are all destructive and don't seem to
offer any chance to win for anyone.

Let's all try to team up with each other. That promises most success on our hobby.

It's this: Sometimes (I don't say I tend to, but it's more than absolutely infrequent) I worry about things and voice them more or less accurate and I also consider consequences and voice them. When voiced often the annoyance is gone after a really short time. Probably not the worst method to handle incidents, but the remaining problem is, that the announced consequences are irrelevant. Sorry for the shock I potentially provoked. Without guaranty I promise to think about twice or more on the next occasion before I post nonsense. Now please let's pass on to more usual forum talk.

I don't know if they are new, but I found them just a few weeks ago. Cheetos are unknown here. I got them in Spain while on vacation some years ago.
