Hey!

In case you haven't noticed :). I have released Kiss - Bally 1979.

Now available in the download section is the version 1.01 with some fixes to 1.0 released two days ago.

Another fine table JP!!!! The only problem is where are the sound effects. Flippers and such make sound but no bells and whistles.

Sound effects: I guess you need to use the F6 and select the type of sound you want. Also on older Bally's like this Kiss, you need to have "Use samples" enabled in the Pinmame configuration (press F1 and be sure the use samples is marked). You also need the Bally samples in you sample directory, go to http://www.pinmame.com/ and download the zip file woth the Bally samples.

@StevOz. Yes, I decided not to add that drop wall on top of the droptargets, the main reason was that that wall became very dark and I couldn't get it to be the same colour as the dropwalls under. I tried turning off the shadows, but still it was too dark.

I didn't realize that there was an F6 function. Also I have your other kiss table and I never needed the samples before, but I got them now for Bally. Thank alot JP you have The Best Tables on the net. Keep up the good work.

Lets get the Elvis table out there.

You didn't need the samples on the older Kiss table because that table was VP only, not vpm (didn't use any roms). This one uses the ROM from the original table (the bootleg version with 7 digits), and the vpm emulation of those older Ballys requires the samples.

PS: The Elvis table still is not ready to be used in vpinmame, we need to wait three years after the release of a real table before it can be emulated, just a courtesy to Stern (or any other manufacter). I think there was some other author working on Elvis, at least I read something about the table in teh vpforums.

Now no sound in Kiss 5.0

Hey JP great work on the new table. Now I'm back to just flipper sounds no music or chimes. I've done what you said in my post a few months ago but no luck. Help

Just download the samples for Bally from www.pinmame.com and put the zip file into your samples folder. Run the table, press F1, and be sure that "use samples" is checked.
