First, I’d like to say “Thank you for adding me to your group”
Ok, I have a Williams Klondike pin which I have completely gone through and cleaned. Everything seems to be in working order except the 10’s score reel. This is the sequence things happen:
I power up the game, push the free button to start a new game, all the score reels go to zero except the 10’s reel. The ball will pop, I shoot the ball and all is good until the first time the 10’s reel tries to turn. The reel doesn’t move and the stepper unit coil locks on. That’s when I shut it down. The contacts are opening and closing as they should on the 10’s reel and it has been deep cleaned and works flawlessly moving it by hand. Is it a good possibility that the coil on the reel is just bad? Also, the stepper unit was also taken apart, cleaned and lubed, and also moved freely by hand. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ! @pinballdaveh
